Sometimes the simplest of cravings are the hardest to find. Whether it’s a burger, hot dog, or even a milkshake. And while a diner may be the perfect spot to find those things, sometimes the wait kills the cravings. We recently took a trip to Jefferson fry co. and all we have to say is we found your spot!
Jefferson fry co. where great fries are their mission, strive to serve the best quality and most exciting variety of dirty fries anywhere. With five locations in Cromwell, Canton, Hartford, Vernon and Storrs, this fry company creates a cozy environment to enjoy some of your favorite foods!
We took a look at their menu and have to say it is definitely hard to just choose one thing. From crazy fry flavors, to juicy burgers, they even created a bunch of dirty dogs, delicious milkshakes and now burger bowls for those who want to skip the bun! Here’s what we tried!
- Fusion Fries (crispy golden fries, shredded chicken, sriracha, garlic aioli, hoisin sauce, chopped peanuts and cilantro)
- Beef Chili Fries (crispy golden fries topped with beef and bean chili topped with shredded cheddar and served with a side of sour cream)
- Twisted Fries (crispy golden fries topped with bacon bits, banana peppers, diced tomatoes, green onions, garlic aioli and topped with their homemade gravy)
- Crispy Chicken Burger Bowl (Shredded lettuce, crispy chicken pieces, diced tomato, onion, pickles and topped with their signature sauces)
- JFC Burger (Double beef patty topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, their secret sauce and of course topped with a pile of their crispy golden fries)
- Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake
- Cookie Butter Milkshake
We just had to share one of our highlights from our trip with all of you! If you’re looking for something quick and on the lighter side we highly recommend one of their burger bowls! We tried the crispy chicken one and it reminded us of a crispy chicken snack wrap from McDonalds minus the wrap and with added toppings!
Let’s talk about the staff for a second as well. Upon entering we were kindly greeted and taken well care of since starting our order. Our food came out pretty fast, less than 10 minutes and everything was cooked well and delicious! The team works extremely well together to ensure a wonderful visit for every customer!
