If you’re from Connecticut then my page is for you! For those of you who may not know me, I go by CT Food Hunters on social media! I take my friends and family with me and travel around the state of CT to find the best bites, drinks, desserts and more!

My name is Christina, and I’ve had a love for everything food related since as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Shelton, I attended Emmett O’Brien Technical high school to learn culinary arts. I developed a love for baking and pastry arts there and decided to further my knowledge at Johnson and Wales university in Providence, RI.

During my college experience, I took on an internship at Foxwoods Resort and Casino as their chocolatier and have been working with sweets since and am currently pursuing a role in bread and dessert baking. I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to work with different aspects of the baking industry for the past 7 years as well as compete on food network for a chocolate competition! (Food Networks Chocolate Meltdown: Hesrshey’s After Dark S1 EP.2) Along with working in a bakery, I also spend some time with clients to do private dining to keep in touch with my culinary side.

From graduating high school, 2015, to present time, 2024, I have always spent my time off exploring the towns around me looking for good food and to support others in the food industry. In 2019, I decided to start my instagram page CT Food Hunters. I remember how slow the start was, following some local restaurants and other fellow foodies, waiting for follows back. And then I started sharing my favorite food spots with photos of their delicious foods and my page started getting more attention. Currently my page sits over 4,000 followers and I’ve created connections with other fellow foodies, content creators, and restaurant owners!

The goal for my blog is help other foodies in the state to find new places to try out and enjoy as well as support local and small businesses to help them gain attraction. Sometimes it’s hard to find a new spot and finding a trustworthy page is helpful! All of my reviews and photos only get uploaded when I truly believe a restaurant is good! It all comes down to the food and service! I love collaborating with restaurants and happily take recommendations for places to try out!
